Bergströms Ur – Gothenburg

Founded in 1953, Bergströms Ur has a long-standing appreciation for craftsmanship, precision and objects that transcend generations. In the heart of Gothenburg, this heritage finds a contemporary expression in a space where tradition and modern sensibilities meet. Designed by Rum Rum, the interior draws inspiration from the intimacy of a private residence, creating an atmosphere that feels both refined and welcoming.

Thoughtfully selected materials, warm textures and sculptural elements shape an environment defined by quiet elegance. For the flooring, a classic chevron pattern was selected in our shade 301 Abbekås, a deep brown hardwax oil. The floor is framed by a bespoke parquet border, complemented by a recessed, dark-stained oak inlay — a subtle architectural detail that brings definition and character to the space. A considered meeting of materials, craftsmanship and timeless design.
