Along the sound Riddarfjärden in a building from 1936, the architect Andreas Martin-Löf has designed two storys consisting of a private apartment as well as the office of his architectural firm.

Here, Andreas has recreated functional details while playing with modern choices of materials. He found inspiration in the original architecture, for example by choosing stone and wood details based on what he found around the building.

In order to maintain the original feeling, Andreas chose a chevron floor made of solid oak, and a surface treatment was created to match and recreate his inspiration from an old window found in the basement.
